December 26, 2008 -- Hello everyone! Thanks for all the holiday wishes, sorry I'm a day late. Couldn't get online yesterday.
My holiday was nice; disappointing cause I couldn't see two of my cousins but it was a nice gathering.
Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas, and to those that don't, I hope your enjoying your time with your loved ones and having a safe week.

Can you believe were just a few days away from entering 2009?? That's INSANE!

Not too much on the Avril news right now; she DID switch managements. Not much info has been given on that though, however we wish Avril luck with that.

On the site now, we have a NEW gallery!
The last one; meh, I don't even know what happened. However I switched the link in the Navigation so go on right now =D

If you want any of your photos submitted from say Meet and Greets, you saw her on the streets and got to say hi, live performances or even your artwork, contact me. Everything I use on my gallery will have credits to the owners so no worries.

November 08, 2008 -- According to a recent article with Darren Lynn Bousman, Avril was scheduled to appear in "Repo! The Genetic Opera", which is a rock opera about a future where organs are being sold by a corporation. But if you forget to pay, the repo man comes and takes your organs from you on the spot.

This is what the article says about Avril, from the words of Darren- "Avril Lavigne almost came on board and she wanted to write her own songs and I'm like absolutely not. There's none of that."

So here's the funny part. Can you guess who ended up taking Avril's role? None other than Paris Hilton.

On a side note; Just a few days ago Avril got up on stage quite drunk and ended up singing songs with Steel Panther! (What a weird match, at least for me seeing as I came from all the rock roots and stuff and pop just kind of happened to me when I first heard Avril.)
I will post the videos she sang with them, soon hopefully.

November 08, 2008 -- Alrighty. NEW LAYOUT! Yay.
Okay, so I based it on the same html of my other Avril website, but it's totally brand new on piczo.
I included new navigation which includes a full fledged Gallery, as well as Fanfiction and brand NEW forums (Better than the other ones!)
I'm working on a video archive (Kinda like YouTube) except 100% Avril all the time.
Please comment on the layout and continue rating my site. Thanks!!!

I have set up an Avril Lavigne Fanfiction Archive, in other words, if you are write stories on Avril or her band or someone you know does, join and submit your stories. You have several different things to do there, such as rating/commenting others stories with your thoughts, favoriting authors and much more.

August 18, 2008-- Avril's concert for Malaysia(sp?) has NOT been canceled. Although certain officials are trying to ban her from their country, she will still be playing there. (Yay!)

July 31, 2008-- Avril has recently done an interview with Alloy.Com and OK! Magazine. They will be posted soon. Also, Avril's first and ex-bassist Mark opened up about his departure from her band in 2002 in a recent interview.

Avril has also added a new feature to her site-I recieved an E-Mail from her website's administration a few days ago to a new Avril site for just videos, like a YouTube site, however, this is 100% Avril.

On a bad know, Avril's back-up dancer Lindsey has decided to leave the band. She's going to choreograph a new movie! Sofia, Avril's other dancer, has stated when the tour is over she's going to pursue her career as well...So I guess this is it for both of them. (Sofia actually leaving all together is unconfirmed though so no rumors)

June 22, 2008--- Losing internet connection really sucks. Luckily,we got our bill in and everything's restored.
Before I pop into Avril news, I'd like to thank ALL of you for so many birthday wishes. It means a lot to me :)

Now, a bit on Avril news. Avril recently won a MMVA award for People's Choice Favorite Canadian Artist. Congrats Avril! She couldn't make it to the award show, but she did make a thank you speech from Barcelona, Spain.

While we're on the subject of Spain, it is confirmed that Avril's Barcelona stop was cancelled due to Trucker's Strike despite recent rumors it was due to any illnesses.

Want to make Girlfriend go down in history? How about YouTube's history? Girlfriend is the second most-watched video on YouTube and you can make it shoot to number 1 instantly. Just open this link, the page refreshes itself which means less trouble for you and more web success for Avril :)

May 24, 2008-- There really hadn't been any news to report since Avril's been on bed rest, however, it's safe to say the tour will continue on soon! The Flock will also be put to DVD, reported it was released on May 20 for North America. Avril's live DVD (still nameless) was confirmed by SonyBMG recently and will be out July 7th(Subject to change!)

May 05, 2008-- Avril has been forced to cancel about 8 shows, all ending her North American leg of her "The Best Damn Tour." Not quite sure if any of the shows will be re-planned or just cancelled, as refunds were starting to be avalable today(Monday.) Bright side though, Avril, as well as Daughtry and some other bands including Carrie Underwood will be coming to Toms River, New Jersey(Where I live =]) for the Toms River Festival. More info can be found on her MySpace or official website.

On other news, Avril and BUTCH WALKER wrote a song during the making of TBDT, "All Because Of You", which was given to Puffy Ami Yummi. A clip of their cover is on youtube now, lyrics will be posted here ASAP. (It's hard because Puffy Ami Yummi cover it in a different language than English.)

April 30, 2008-- Team Avril's finally got a set of forums! It'd be awesome if you signed and posted there. It was just created 2 days ago.

Avril's May 1 Jay Leno apperance and San Diego concert(tonight) have been cancelled due to throat illnesses. Although some assume it's because Avril drank too much w/ the lead singer Martin J. of Boys Like Girls the past night or so, it's all untrue. Avril has a cold/flu (People do get those,ya know lol)

Also, on http://www.avrilmerch.com new merch has been added from The Best Damn Tour

April 26, 2008-- Well well well. Where can I begin? I've been taking long a long hiatus, and I'm SOO sorry for that. Being 15 and going to high school while trying to manage good grades and two jobs is hard, but everybody at my age tries to do that. As you may have noticed the name changed from When You're Gone to Team Avril. The look has changed, more blends have/will come.. This piczo site will be the best it's ever been. I hope you guys rate my site (Please make the ratings less sucky lol) and vote in my new poll(s).
